From Slater Designs (Rewritten):

Meet the Flat Earth — a board created to perform from ankle-high runners to overhead walls. Born from the design mind of Akila Aipa and fine-tuned with Kelly Slater’s input, this shape is built to be your daily driver no matter what the ocean throws your way.

In a time when imagination turns into innovation, this board stands as proof — blending creative design with real-world performance.

The Flat Earth delivers clean speed and seamless flow, especially in chest- to head-high surf. Ride it at your standard shortboard volume or add a few extra liters for even more glide and stability.

Play around with the fin setup: run it as a twin for a fast, loose feel, or add a trailer fin for more bite and control. In smaller sizes, it’ll skate and slide with that twin-fin freedom; in bigger sizes, it locks in with power and drive.

However you set it up, expect a ride that’s quick, lively, and ready to turn heads.

Feel the speed. Hit the lip. Lay it on rail.

As the legendary Ben Aipa would say — “HOOK IT!”
