More Information

The Stewart Pigmē is a fun, high-speed alternative shortboard designed by Bill Stewart for maximum paddle power, early wave-catching, and effortless speed in everything from clean overhead waves to mushy beach breaks.

Key Design & Performance Features
  • Dimensions & Shape: Features an exceptionally wide outline and a low entry rocker combined with a slight beak nose, adding extra volume up front for easy paddling.
  • Bottom Contour: Uses Stewart's signature single-to-double concave that flows into a flat, extra-wide tail for high-speed planing on dead or weak water sections.
  • Turning & Rails: Includes a hip curve in the tail template that gives the board a tighter turning radius, allowing a quick slide release followed by a firm rail re-engagement.
  • Fin Setup: Shaper-tested and built primarily as a simple, reliable tri-fin (thruster) configuration.
  • Versatility: Suitable as a first "real" shortboard for a youth surfer, a fun alternative board for intermediates/advanced surfers, or an easy-paddling shortboard for seasoned surfers.
