The MEGGA 1 is built for maximum speed in small conditions, excellent for driving through flat, mushy sections with ease. A bit of flatness in the nose and middle of the board rockers are what give this shape it's added level of performance when you need it most.
With a wider nose to make it easier to catch waves, the MEGGA 1 is great for guys 190lbs plus, and for those who are looking for a trusty every day board. The MEGGA 1 has ample volume overall. Xanadu designed the shape to have a good amount of foam on top of the rail which will improve wave catching, but the rest of the rail is foiled down nicely for better control through turns and fluid surfing down the line. The volume area from the middle to the bottom of the rail is low and refined. The bottom concaves were designed to create quick down the line speed, and controlled speed between turns using fine tuned hydrodynamic and fluid dynamics.
With all the design characteristics combined, the MEGGA 1 isn't your standard Big Guy shortboard. It's a performance shape built to make wave catching easier and to allow smooth, progressive surfing with less effort.
