The EDC-2 (Every Day Carry 2) is the next evolution of our EDC series — a high-performance shortboard purpose-built to thrive in small, weak conditions without compromising your ability to surf aggressively. With a wider nose and tail outline than the original EDC, the EDC-2 is designed to generate speed and maintain flow through flat or mushy sections. A low entry rocker and enhanced foam distribution under the chest and tail help the board ride higher in the water, improving paddling power and glide while keeping things lively underfoot. Though tuned for weaker surf, the EDC-2 stays true to its performance roots. It’s fast, responsive, and allows for vertical surfing and tight pocket turns when the waves offer even the slightest opening.
