More Information

Rob Machado’s surfboard designs have long reflected his smooth, effortless approach to surfing, and his fish shapes have helped bring the fun and freedom of twin-fin surfing to a whole new generation of surfers.

With the Glazer, Rob takes a different direction, bringing the familiar feel of a thruster back into the mix. This compact, easy-to-ride shortboard is designed to deliver plenty of speed and volume without feeling like a traditional high-performance shortboard.

The Glazer features a generous amount of volume for its size, making it easy to paddle, catch waves, and generate speed. At 5’2”, it carries 27.5 liters, giving it noticeably more volume than Rob’s typical 24.5-liter shortboard. Despite the added float, the board maintains a refined foil with a thinner nose and tail and fuller rails that help create stability, speed, and drive.

A relatively flat section through the middle of the board creates plenty of surface area beneath the chest, while the rocker is concentrated toward the final section of the nose. This combination helps the Glazer paddle efficiently and accelerate quickly once you’re on the wave.
