Product Details

Simba Sentinel   A lightweight, low-profile helmet engineered specifically for the safety of surfers and water sports enthusiasts. The Sentinel 1’s technically advanced design provides high-level impact protection with optimum aquadynamic performance.

HOW DO I CHOOSE THE RIGHT SIZE HELMET? Size your SIMBA helmet like a baseball cap. The objective is to fit the helmet snugly to your head for optimal performance.

CAN I CUSTOMIZE MY FIT? Yes. Wear the helmet for a few minutes to see if it fits well. The helmet, once secured, must be comfortable, but it should not move forward/back. If the helmet is loose, insert the Halofit™ Pads to dial in your fit. We have included 2 sets of pads, blue 7mm and green 9mm. We recommend you start with the blue pads (7mm) first. Initially insert the pads without removing the paper backing to get your fit dialed in. Then remove the paper backing and press into place.

WHAT IF THERE ARE PRESSURE POINTS IN MY HELMET? If the pressure point is at the front of the helmet, try placing the soft Halofit™ Pads in the front Halofit™pad channel. This padding will often relieve the forehead pressure.  One of the unique features of the SIMBA helmet is the foam molds to your head. Slight pressure points often disappear after several surf sessions. It is like breaking in a new shoe.
