Upshot
The Upshot is a maximum float funboard model with a nice wide forgiving outline and a thicker foil through-out the board. Medium-low nose rocker into a fair amount of tail rocker makes for easy wave catching and quick turning from the tail. A single concave into a double with Vee out the tail helps the board with speed and maneuverability. The Upshot has a nice full “longboard” like nose and transitions into a wide point center outline. The outline then goes into a nice curvy tail section and transitions to a slightly wider squash tail for some nice lift on those smaller days. The Upshot comes standard with 5 Future boxes so it can be ridden as a Thruster (3 fins) or a Quad (4 fins). The Thruster is good for control and tighter turns. While you might want to make the Upshot a quad on the smaller days to gain a little extra speed. Customs are available but incur a $35.00 customization fee.
