More Information
The LOST 3.0 Stub Driver is designed for surfers who want high-performance response even when the waves aren’t perfect. It takes the feel of the Driver 3.0 and adapts it for everyday, smaller, or less powerful conditions. If you want a board that still feels quick, lively, and capable of sharp turns in average surf, this model fits that lane perfectly.
This step-down version was created to slip easily into tighter pockets and fast beach-break sections. Compared to the Sub Driver series, the Stub Driver fits into small waves with less effort and feels more reactive under the back foot.
Unlike the Sub Drivers, which use vee out the tail, the Stub Driver uses a continuous rocker paired with a deeper single-to-double concave. This gives the board more lift, easier release, and a smooth, connected feel. The rocker is slightly relaxed from the Driver 3.0, but it still maintains that same fast, performance-focused character.
The concept came from Kolohe Andino, who wanted a board that felt almost identical to his Driver 3.0—but tuned for the softer waves around T-Street and small Trestles. LOST refined the design with help from QS surfers like Crosby Cola, Cole Houshmand, Eli Hanneman, and Michael Dunphy, all of whom added it to their small-wave quivers.
For sizing, ride it 1 inch shorter than your Driver 3.0.
Example: If your Driver is 6'0", the 5'11" Stub Driver is the intended match. Together, these two boards make a perfectly balanced, modern performance pair.
