The HPX – 2.0 surfboard model is targeted for use in 1 to 6 foot swell aimed to be used in anything from beach breaks through to points and reefs. Due to its wider outline it allows for more flotation and can be used for intermediate to advanced levels of surfers. The wider outline of the nose and tail of this board is critical in allowing manoeuvres in steep face waves and flatter fuller faced waves. You can also cut off one or two inches in comparison to the HPX – 1.0 because of the extra flotation. While still retaining the same rocker and rail as our HPX – 1.0 the width throughout this board really makes high performance surfing more natural and forgiving.
