The Sub Driver 2.0 is the new iteration of the high-performance shortboard of choice for the top Lost pros in smaller waves.
This small wave ripping machine is a great board choice for those who mainly surf high-performance shortboards but sometimes have sub-par conditions to contend with. For us here on the Gold Coast, springtime can bring smaller and fatter waves for months on end. This is when we reach for the Sub Driver 2.0!
The main updates on the updated 2.0 model are:
An even wider, more forgiving, nose: Designed to increase forward drive and make the board easier to paddle.
Wider hip in the tail: Primarily to balance the wider forward outline, it allows more control at speed
Added thickness along the center (stringer line) with increased deck and more refined rails.
A deeper concave in the rear third of the board
The wide nose and tail block combined with the low tail rocker and generous dims, allow the SUB DRIVER 2.0 to be ridden 1-2 inches shorter than a DRIVER 2.0 or similar performance shortboard.
