The New Buddy excels in weaker surf because of its wide and full volumed template until the back of the board is quickly narrowed down with a bump into a squash tail. Giving this board control. It has a single to double bottom concave, with full forgiving rails in the middle of the board. These design elements work together to make this shortboard shred in small waves. The New Buddy is so loved by customers, that I had to create a version of the template designed for more powerful waves - which became the F Money!
