More Information
(Below information is from Stamps Surfboards website)
The Habanero was spawned from the Grinder series. I originally made some adjustments that blended the Grinder and the GrinderX to get a small wave contest board for Brett and Courtney. They need a board that would handle the flat sections, but still go vertical on demand. I call the Habaner an ‘active’ grovellor. It has surface area where you need it where you’re standing to keep on top of the water if you’re moving it. Lower tail rocker with a bit of ‘vee’ . The nose rocker is fairly high to keep it nice and free in the steeper sections. The outline has a wider over all template with a moderate nose and tail width, with a slightly pulled in tail block.
