This is one of our house shapes! The FRENZY started off as an earlier version of the board called the Fiend and Fiend X. We wanted to make some modifications so that it was a little bit more “poppy” for airs and had a touch more “shortboard” performance in it. First I deepened the concave on the back half of the board, ran the double concave through the fins a little deeper, and added a touch more rocker. This adds more curve throughout, gives more lift in the tail area, and puts the vee just behind the back fin. I shortened the board, added some width, and thickened it up a little more to make it a little more "fishy" than the earlier versions.
We ended up with the FRENZY, a shorter, wider, and thicker performace fish. Magic rocker and concaves, easy to catch waves, and in a Performance Fishy package. Comparable dims wise to the RNF 96, you get the wider glide but still has that performance DNA.
